Program : Elephant care & Mahout Training
Itineraries :
· Pick up from Hotel 8.00 – 8.30 A.M.
· Driving to a local market for buy a fresh fruits ( banana,watermelon ,sugarcane ) for feeding to elephants.
· Then driving to “ Baan Tung La Korn ” village for meeting our staff and change clothes to be the mahout clothes.
· Have information about the elephant
· Start the introduction of mahout training course
· Learning in basic elephant language ,how to control and riding
· You will be trained to ride on its neck using many different techniques
· More practice how to control and riding
· Have lunch and relax
· After lunch control your elephant to the river ( 1 elephant for 2 person )
· Enjoy bathe and brush your elephant
· Adventure ride elephant bare back follow river by scenic walk with open views
Of the surrounding hills as well as the fields of local people.
· Take elephant to the mud pool. ( You can enjoy take a mud bath with elephant as you wish )
· You will also learn to re-plant food for the elephants to ensure a sustainable food supply for the elephants.
· Have some picture memory , say goodbye to Mahouts and all lovely elephants
· After that we driving back to Chiang Mai.
